This example uses raised events to create a master with Previous and Next links that can link to different pages on each page.

Any interaction within a master can raise an event. In the Case Editor dialog, choose the “Raise Event” action. In Step 4 of the dialog, you can add and manage raised events and select the event(s) to raise in the interaction. It helps to give the raised event a descriptive name, like OnHelpButtonClick.
Raised events can also be managed in the Manage Raised Events dialog at Wireframe -> Manage Raised Events in the main menu.

When you add the master to a page, select the master and you’ll see the raised events in the Interactions pane. You can add interactions to that event the same way you would any other event.

Raised Events are custom events created on masters that allow you to add different interactions to each instance of the master. You can also use raised events when you want widgets inside a master to affect widgets on the page outside of the master. Raised event are triggered from interactions on widgets within the master.
For example, if you create a "Back" or "Previous" button within a master, you can raise an event from the OnClick of the button that can then link to a different page depending on which page the master is used. The benefit is that the button is a master and can be updated in one location.
Or if your page has a master and a dynamic panel, and a button within the master needs to hide panel. You can raise an event from the button click in the master, so that an interaction can be defined on the master to hide the panel.
It can take a bit to get comfortable with raised events, but it’s a powerful feature when you need it.
